A comet wipes out most of life on Earth, leaving two Valley Girls fighting against cannibal zombies and a sinister group of scientists.

Also, the first time I heard the phrase "E Ticket attraction".
For the youngins out there an "E ticket attraction" was the most expensive ticket at Disneyland in the days before woke.
I liked this movie but it was far off from reality. one of the first things that would happen after most of the people disappeared from earth in this fashion is that within hours or days then all of those nuclear power plants would go Kaboom. Because even if they go into auto shutdown they still need to be cooled.
That was a fun movie to watch.
This is a great movie for preppers. If you are a cheerleader who survives a comet strike, this will teach the basics of how to fight zombies with an Uzi.
“Daddy would have gotten us Uzis.”

I can’t remember how they got the Uzis.
Guess I’ll have to watch it again.
That’s the problem with these things, daddy would have got us Uzis…
I’ve loved this movie since it first came out
It was fun, but pretty dumb.
They didn’t get Uzis. They had MAC-10s.

doh!
My bad.
As I recall, the main characters were Valley Girls, so, yes, it wasn’t highbrow stuff.
The “scientists” in the movie were not very smart either. In fact, the Vals outsmarted them.
I was gonna reference this cool movie in a earlier thread..
Saw it on TV decades ago. When the young girl is trying to make a Mac-11 machine pistol work and it keeps jamming she said the most memorable line in a teen movie...I knew She was a “keeper.”
“Daddy would have gotten us UZIS!”
I read once that that line ad-libbed.
Apparently while filming the guns being used kept jamming on set so they came up with the line to account for it.
