“During the late 60s it was amazing to see his show on TV”

I was flipping channels on our basement TV when I was in middle school and I came across some guy with a weird accent.

Sat down and started to listen what he as saying and became a big fan.

A few weeks later my Dad came downstairs when Buckley’s show was on and says “What are you listening to?!?!?” Dad became a fan too!

Imagine all the late 60s teens and college kids who saw his show and were puzzled on how he could be saying things in ways they had never heard and which they thought they disagreed with, yet sounding correct about everything and showing the flaws in the positions of the liberal intellectual giants of their time, I’m sure it changed many lives and taught many they could disagree at school and college.

He was a powerful force for sanity.
