Where we lived once, a guy wanted to rob the local grocery store. So he bought a pack of gum to get the cashier to open the drawer. Problem was, he had only a dollar and the gum was a little more.
However, the gum was on sale with the store card and she told him that. So he hands her the card, she rings up the purchase, and he robs her.
Soon as he left, she reported it, they looked up his store card information, and the police were waiting for him when he got home.
