Virtue signaling on steroids, isn't the purpose of yachting to have as much open space for sun as possible.

What happens when a storm suddenly comes through and the yacht is stuck because the solar panels can't get any sunlight?

Go woke go broke.

No that’s not the primary purpose - that would be to showoff how wealthy you are compared to other people in ‘row boats’.

I'm holding out for yachting equity myself.

At the very least, the world owes me a yacht car with a couple of babes to ride around with me.

But no one pays attention to the problems stemming from the use of alternative fuels such as pixie dust and unicorn farts. Unicorns and pixies are not happy in captivity, and that often leads to suicide. Something the MSM doesn’t report.

“Virtue signaling on steroids”

No kidding. Do these people care one whit for “the environment” or the world? Of course not. If they did, they wouldn’t be wasting a half billion dollars on a “mine is bigger than yours” play toy.

They should really go for it and use a papyrus boat like Thor Heyerdahl did back in the 1970s.

We fire up the Generator and recharge the batteries that way.

But, we’re on 41ft. NOT a super-yacht, nor, are we woke.

The epitome of virtue signaling.

The rich elitists have NO intention of giving up one iota of their comfort and privileges. They are doing this all for show, as if it’s supposed to engender sympathy for and acceptance of them and their lifestyle.

From the yacht’s build and design to the brokerage houses, the supertanker of yachting is increasingly turning in the direction of eco-responsibility.

Life in Monaco comes with its own priorities. Outsiders may not understand.

I wonder how big an RTG battery would need to match the performance of a Diesel engine?
