You have a pair of socks. When you put on your left sock, your other sock immediately becomes your right sock – with no communication between them – regardless of its position anywhere in the universe.

Good afternoon, AU.
On the topic of physics, what's v?
velocity = distance * time

The left sock is always the left sock in even numbered years. In odd numbered years it becomes the right sock.
"Good afternoon, AU. On the topic of physics, what's v?"

If you mean in the normal, physical, macro world:
distance = rate * time
rate = velocity
d = v * t
v = d / t
45 MPH = 45 miles / 1 hour
Perhaps you meant chemistry, where V refers to volume.
Ideal Gas Law
"The ideal gas law, also called the general gas equation, is the equation of state of a hypothetical ideal gas. It is a good approximation of the behavior of many gases under many conditions, although it has several limitations.
For the most part gases all follow the equation PV = nRT where P is pressure (in atmospheres), V is volume (in liters), n is number of moles, and T is temperature (in degrees Kelvin). R is a constant, equal to 0.08206 L atm/moleK."
