Fun fact: Al Sharpton is not a real reverend. He never went to a divinity school or received any sort of diploma. He is a “reverend” only because some real reverend decided to simply ordain Sharpton when he was nine years old.
Not much different from a real general deciding to make me a colonel when I was nine years old.
And it’s a pity that never happened. I would have enjoyed the title.
He probably answered an ad in the back of Rolling Stone to get his certificate.
The bible makes nor has any of those requirements to be a teacher of his word.
