It is fun to watch young people discover things. In this case presumably they have never been in an older city before, like New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, San Francisco, or a thousand other similar places in the US.

And they never even read about London, Paris, Tokyo, or the rest of the cities in the world.

My niece moved to London and loves it there, and walks or takes mass transit everywhere.

The actor that was the main guy in “Peaky Blinders” and then played Oppenheimer had an interview when the first show got big.

Q: “So the opening scene where you are on horseback - did you grow up around horses?

A: No. I grew up in London. But they asked me that for the job. And of course I said I could ride. Same with driving a car - I’d never driven a car before growing up in London. But I’m an actor, and I’ll do what I need to do to play the part.
