COVID-19 was the project that got the funding. In terms of the original project goals, it was clearly a fizzle.

However, the mRNA project was a great success. Over 80% of the US population accepted that treatment. We will be living (and dying) with the consequences of that for a very long time.

So does the idea of public trials and executions of responsible parties.
