RFK, Jr.’s take on American and what can be done.
Teddy’s immigration knife in America’s back is doing us all in.
JFK would also dazzle. But he was hopelessly equivocal and had no clue what he stood for other than politics and government. Teddy’s debauchery, corruption, and treason was a picture of what the end result of JFK would have been had he stuck around.
This guy is a Democrat. That’s as far as I go with him.
Just think of all the Democrats he’d bring to the White House.
At best — channel your inner Pollyanna with me here — at the very best, RFK2 has evolved from his boomer youth, seen the error of his ways, and has groped his way toward maturity. Defying his family can’t have been easy either. Maybe he’s being genuine here. Maybe prodigal sons do return.
But he won’t win and we can’t risk voting for him.
Main question: Where are the solutions?
Why did we not see Ted Kennedy idolized? You know, the guy that championed big government as a fix for everything.

Kennedy has zero chance. I do wonder what if a credible 3rd party candidate were to run this year?

Since his value is in siphoning off votes from Biden, he needs to be even more of a climate fascist and anti-gun fascist, good for him. He will likely attract all the idealistic mushy-headed white liberals who cling to these positions, away from the Biden column. I really hope he does not moderate any of these stances.

I used to have the same outlook as you, he’s an evil dem, he’s a good guy pubbie. They’re Team D and Team R of the Uniparty. I remember the era portrayed in that ad. Since then, America has been sailed down the river to hell while half the time having Uniparty (R) presidents and congressional majorities. Reagan is the exception. RR was in and getting things done before the Uniparty (R) figured out how to stop him. DJT believed and talked a good game but was a babe in the Uniparty (R) woods. McConnell, Ryan and McCarthy took out Trump’s knees. That’s why today, there’s nothing left of Trump’s executive order “accomplishments”. I’m banking on the hope that Trump’s eyes are wide open this time.
Remember those “anti climate change” and “pro 2nd Amendment” pubbie congressional majorities and presidents we’ve elected? Well, what the heck happened to those pubbie promises? Even though I’m a registered pubbie, I no longer play their Uniparty game.
I go to bed each election night knowing that in at least one precinct in this country, we had a legit election. I know that because I’m working the polls and eyeballing everything. Funny thing, a registered independent is not allowed to participate working the polls. That law makes the independent mind wonder what its purpose is?
I hope he does NOT abandon any of these, and goes strident left on the climate fascism. All power to him. I admire him for attacking Biden from the left. There is no value in attacking Biden from the right.

No. You can look at my history. I knew Trump would win in Jun 2015. I knew they’d take it from him in 2020. I think it’s because I’m a New Yorker. My father was a big business man who grew up in queens. He was a patriot. A Marine.
I don’t see how people don’t see that Trump is a winner. He knows game theory. He knows sun tzu. He plays the long game.
When qanon comes up on this forum I look and I don’t see anything. It circles back on itself. Sometimes I ask how does it work. I try and I don’t see it. I’m not that interested. Nothing it would have to say would change my mind
I trust the constitution and the people who live by it. Trumps rallies are consistently full in attendance of people from all over the country who want nothing but the constitution. Which is powerful.
It will prevail. People who hate him are out of touch with the constitution. They’re stuck on politics of personality. They have a deep hatred of republicans they were brainwashed into from their parents at a young age. The politicians, media corporate moguls and celebrities who hate Trump don’t want to go to jail they think there’s safety in numbers like the blue state voters who live by license. They miss Clinton. Tgey want lifestyles of birth control and abortion
Many are from red states. They practice their religions. Many are Catholics but when it comes to Trump they hate.

They think Trump hates. They think his supporters hate. But they don’t know Trump nor his supporters because they don’t talk to them. They don’t listen to them. I know them. They’re my family and friends They don’t listen to one sentence of the answers to the questions they ask about Trump
Those people vote Trump in private. They know he’s better than the alternative
