Not completely. They now say the student handbook next year will correct the oversight and prohibit display of the American Flag. I wonder who put the principal up to this? Why has he or she decided after the kid has done this for six months to make a scene of it?

They’re ignorant commies that don’t understand they are GOVERNMENT PUBLIC SERVANTS constrained by the US Constitution. It is OUR school, owned and paid for by WE THE PEOPLE. Free speech applies to kids in school. The handbook had better say NO FLAGS - that is the only they *might* get away with it. It certainly can’t just be ‘American Flag’.
IMHO every government employee should go through civil rights ‘refresher’ training during onboarding. From teachers, to principals, to police, far too many public servants don’t seem to understand the rights people have and the limits to their authority...and that violating rights is a CRIME.
I love what the 1A and 2A auditors are doing on YouTube - they expose this mentality.
