Fair question. The follow up is what are the odds Ukraine has the capability to strike accurately, deep within Russian territory, with these drones?
All they would need is current satellite imagery overlaid with gps coordinates. These drones are gps guided (probably). That would require US DOD cooperation. A bit of no-cost assistance as the US would be doing this anyway.
Commercial satellite imagery would do, from the aspect of resolution, but its not timely enough for targeting.
This is basically like somebody attacking Barksdale or Moffit AFB where our nuclear bombers are mostly.
How long would we tolerate attacks on the home of our nuke bombers?
