*long ago I gave Fonda a pass./a past built upon DS lies and buoyed by the blood of thousands of American soldiers.*
Hindsight is 20-20. Fonda was young and naive. She still is. There was never a declaration of war. She may have cared about the 58k dead Americans more than the rest of us. Give her credit for trying to do do something about it.
Was Viet Nam worth it? A ‘noble cause’? History says otherwise.
Though I may be putting myself out there for critique:
From my chair, Jane Fonda had more cajones than most who claim the label ‘Conservative’ today. The reaction to her for years was natural, overwhelmingly due to nearly none of us knowing the facts behind that ‘war’.
EVERY time we push back, they swing the hammer. A change in tactics is mandated because the longer we sit on our hands, they’re stacking the deck against us and setting us up for something massive.
It’s past time to apply extreme pressure to our politicians, 100x that which was proffered by Maxine Waters. Old style protests accomplish nothing in this era. Media is a tool of the government. The enemy is entrenched, and their followers are brainwashed; blind, deaf to our concerns.
I mean EXTREME.
We’re around the corner from another Ruby Ridge or Waco - either J6 style or massacre - strictly focused upon those of us who might have previously claimed to be MAGA or Tea Party.
