The USA does the same thing.
This is how we came up with targeting maps for ICBM’s and bomber fleets back in the 60’s.
No real news here.
Just more attempts to manipulate Senators to throwing more cash at Ukraine and 10% for the Big Guy.

No, that is the West, which is prepared to destroy the world over who rules in the Donbass.
br< Donbass is not what Putin or the Kremlin is after. Nor is it eastern Ukrain. Putin/Kremlin are after all of Ukraine. Once Ukraine is taken, Putin/Kremlin will be looking for other 'easier' targets, And those targets will become easy targets once they see that the U.S and Europe allowed Russia take Ukraine. Those easier and smaller targets wont be able to trust the U.S. or NATO ever again.

So, Russia will have its way with all or most of eastern Europe. And China will become even more emboldened to go after its ambitions in Asia, and the U.S. and NATO and SEATO won't be trusted there either. Putin and the Kremlin and China and Iran and N. Korea are watching very carefully.

Donbass? Only a dumbass government/military leader believe that Putin and China would stop there.

Who cares ?

There is nothing in Europe that anyone in North America should sacrifice for.

The U.S. is becoming Europe-like, and so, we are becoming just like like those weenies. If Europe goes, so does the U.S.. And then, where do you go. You’d have to learn Russian or Chinese. So, would you care then?

“and they’re willing to bring America to her knees in order to accomplish their evil goal.”

There are a couple posters that claim since Russia’s nukes are so cruddy and run down from neglect that they won’t fire, and they can’t hurt us. They’re bloodthirsty enough to be willing for us to risk it.

Bloodthirsty AND stupid.

I’d like to know their source for that info.

I don’t understand the argument that both Canada and the USA appear to be in a terminal spiral, so let’s ignore it and try to fix Ukraine, or Europe.

Instead of putting everyting we have to try and solve our own problems we ignore them and just run up more debt, run down the remains of our military, keep the border open and just let unlimited immigration in... and get ready to go to war on behalf of Europe that won’t do anything for itself, does not want to be saved, and will sabotage our efforts to save it.

How is this rational ?

There is no such thing as 'our own problems'. Our problems are shared by the world, and the world's problems have become ours too. It's a small world. We no longer live in the ancient world, where countries could keep to themselves. Other countries will seek us out, even if we try to become neutral or uninvolved. We cannot hide. We can't just put our heads in the sand and hope that our enemies will not notice us.

“So if we oppose nuclear war with Russia, somehow we support Putin. Do I have that right?”

Assuming you’ve got that right, it means that if someone doesn’t support Putin, he is for nuclear war with Russia. That’s the Peeper “logic” !

How about you dudes read a bit about cold war era propaganda, the arrogant, warmongering US cowboy that is going to start the nuclear war and the western useful idiots spreading it around. Then think about the role you were assigned in the current scenario.

You make an excellent point!
Rush would call these folks useful idiots in these current scenario roles assigned and completely, without questioning, accepted.

At some risk to my status on your forum, I respectfully disagree.

NATO has leadership problems (so do we right now). NATO needs to pay its fair share. NATO needs to hold its defensive stance and not take sides or engage in cultural conflicts beyond its borders. NATO has some partners (i.e. Turkey) that need re-evaluation. Trump would say all of these things. But Trump would not call for dissolution.

Nor should he. Tearing down institutions for good is what the left does. Fix it where its broken. The US will not find common interests to the extent we have with Europe with any other regions or peoples of the world, not South America, not Africa, not Asia (with few exceptions).

“NATO needs to be dissolved.”

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Thank you for your reversed psychology Jim.

“Reverse psychology” being a technique involving the assertion of a belief or behavior that is opposite to the one desired, with the expectation that this approach will encourage the subject of the persuasion to do what is actually desired.

Indeed, we all share Christian values and evidently we don’t want the deep-sate politicians in the Kremlin have their wet dream come true : which is the dismantlement of NATO, and then Russia replacing Europe with Kremlin neo-soviet rule. Europe and/or America “shall not be replaced”…

America and France teamed together for a purpose: America’s FREEDOM, and France’s LIBERTY.
The aid given by France, much of which passed through the neutral Dutch West Indies port of Sint Eustatius, contributed to George Washington’s survival against the British onslaught in 1776.

Yes, 1776. (It’s my mascot number by the way).
1776 is THE key event we should all be proud of and never forget. It’s part of America’s DNA.
It proved that collaboration between true allies is not only about money, but it’s also about common sense, shared decent Christian values, and indeed… the quest to preserve our freedom. It’s such values we want to hand over to our children : allies do collaborate. It’s vital for our survival in the long run.

America’s founding fathers were greatly inspired by French philosophers and their theories of government and governance. Charles Montesquieu was one of them.
America can’t today suddenly desist its past history and the common sense values it cherishes and has inherited. Americas history is what makes it survive today.

The Only Thing Needed for Evil to Succeed is for Good Men to do Nothing… I believe Edmund Burke once said that.
The dismantling of NATO would fall in that category : “of good men doing nothing”.

That would ignite a rapid expansion of Russia’s already spectacular Lebensraum policies against many of our most Christian allies: Poland, the Baltic States. Then, the Russian expansion would move towards Scandinavia, and so on…
They could never take France though, unless they want Moscow and every mayor Russian city to be vaporized.
Evidently that would trigger the destruction of Paris as well… That is what happens when Russia takes the initiative to invade nations just willing to live in freedom.

America and Western nations are clearly NOT interested in invading Russia. But, Russia needs Europe’s vast natural resources… That’s why it invades all over the place.
Russia needs Ukraine’s massive natural resources. Uranium is one of them… That’s why Russia violated Ukraine’s borders. It’s all about Resources! Even human resources… because Russia’s demographics is collapsing. Thats why thousands of young Ukrainian children have been deported into Russia. They are being groomed in special “re-education camps” to become pro-Kremlin and hate their own parents. It’s an abomination.

The Kremlin’s aggressive war-machine is playing with fire and can end up destroying a piece of the planet, if we don’t stop it from expanding further.
It’s like cancer. If you don’t care about it will eat you alive. Playing the isolationist card right now won’t work. It will only be fanning the flames instead.

Weakness and isolationism always escalate wars.
Collaboration ends wars. The American / France collaboration proved that in the past, in many different scenarios and in different periods.

Weakness is the West’s (America and Europe) most effective fuel and driving force behind Russia’s lust for expansionism.
Weakness in the West is what the FSB is pushing for, because it guarantees a successful - war of conquest - for Russia. History has showed that again and again, systematically.
Thus, the dismantling of NATO and the massive imbalance it would create in Russia’s favor (and for its North Korean and Iranian allies) is indescribable.

That’s why I support Trump’s proven PRO-NATO polices and his spectacular anti Russia polices he put in place in 2016 and later during his entire presidency. I have already posted a list here on FR concerning the 40 remarkable things Trump did against Russia, for Nato and for Ukraine.

Only Trump has the will and the know-how to stop Russia’s aggression. Trump is not someone who would kneel to benefit Russia, in anyway.
Trump’s psychological technique to force NATO nations to spend more on their respective armies is working well. And NATO is now in full expansion mode : Finland and Sweden.

We will not be replaced.

“NATO needs to be dissolved.”

NATO’s purposes have yet to end.

1. To keep the Germans on a leash.
2. To keep the peace between NATO members.
3. And to keep the Russians out of Europe so Americans don’t have to go fight and die in Europe for a third time.

I hope and pray that some day we’ll no longer need NATO. But this is not that day.
