IIRC, “Squeeze Box”, arguably their worst single, hit #1 and was the only song of theirs to do that. But so many others deserved it.

"Squeeze Box" peaked at #16 on the US charts. I was only counting the US charts.
I do like Townsend's banjo picking on that song.
