In the very near future music will be entirely AI created by the listener to emulate musical styles that they like. Want new Who songs that sound like The Who's catalogue from 1969-1973? AI will create them.
Want music that sounds like Metallica + Paul McCartney + ABBA? AI will create it.
Music will be a largely private experience as listeners curate sounds (I won't call them songs) that only they like.
And not just music but artwork and movies as well.
As an old fart music listener I am stuck in the 70’s, 80’s and early 90’s. Generally speaking songs are based on some sort of personal experience. AI would be just making it up.

The basic difference between a psychopath and a normal person is the psychopath lacks empathy... Now imagine a creation that totally lacks empathy - can live almost forever and sees little difference between destroying an ant hill and destroying a major city.
