More of my friends use cannabis now than did in their 20’s.

That's rather terrifying.   I can't imagine getting high in my seventies.   I have no friends but for my wife.   My former co-workers who did get high made me uncomfortable when in situations where they might break it out.

In my running around days I was 500 miles away from where I live now.   It wasn't the same walking out in the pasture and toking alone.   That made it easy to leave it behind.

I'm mid-50's. My friends now are friends from childhood, whom I also went college with. Probably only about 8-10 of them, but they are far more social than I am, so I hear about other acquaintances through them.

I think they have replaced drinking alcohol, in large part, with cannabis, as they've gotten older. I'd like to do the same, but I can't bring myself to ask them to get me some.
