The Military Summary channel is reporting this is the initial move by the Ukes in an operation to reconquer the spit. Perhaps a diversion from the Russian successes all along the main lines, perhaps to open up better shipping access into the Black Sea. What concerns me is the French led brigade sitting there in Romania. If something really stupid is tried, this would be the spot for Macron to do it.
