The Russia NATO war, like all wars, has acted like a hammer and forge to pound the dross out of the Russian army. American and NATO troops in advisory roles have not been through the forge of war and if they decide to become declared combatants European and American cities will be targeted by missiles and drones.

America has plenty of experience in combat operations, and even in long times of no war, the navy at least is generally good at training like they are.

Russia is only surviving now because Ukraine has limited offensive capabilities, and almost zero capability to hit Russia outside of Ukraine. Russia would have zero chance against Europe, although Europe likely couldn't invade Russia successfully either. These US, however, can easily tear Russia apart. And we have the logistics capabilities to actually plow through all of Russia if we had to. I'm sure Russia would do better than Iraq did, but not that much better.

This is why they are so hot for us to get involved. Ukraine certainly, and Europe could not defeat Russia on their own.
