We should stage a prediction contest here...Oakland in 2030, SF in 2030, and NY City in 2030.
Over Oakland in six years...I’ll predict that city population drifts down from 433,000 to around 390,000. About a quarter of today’s businesses in the city will be shutdown. At least one noted gang ‘boss’ will be voted onto the city council by that point. And, city fire-and-rescue will be gutted by one-third to save on expenditures.

More like 340,000. All the whites will leave and Oakland will become a business desert except for corner liquor stores and payday loan shops.
