I’ve followed Banksy since he was only a graffiti artist and not seilling art - my ex was an aerosol artist and had Banksy’s coffee table book. His work was always smart and cheeky, and I admire that he’s been able to do all of that anonymously. That’s not easy.
He’s also anti-government, to a degree. Lots of shots taken at the Queen, so to speak, and law enforcement. If anything, all of that is way more applicable now.
