Thanks, all. It looked pretty clear between AZ and FL, but the storms you describe could have been enough. There was a band of something in northern FL. Still not sure about what my wife heard about air traffic control, could have just been someone’s BS.
Both can be true. ATC delays caused by weather, which in turn drives cancellations downstream in the airplane or crew’s schedule.
