Just walk onto the airliner, pack nothing. There is literally a Walmart within 20 minutes of any commercial airport in the US.

Buy 30 or 40 bucks of clothes and stuff there and you are good to go.

No worries about TSA, bag smashers, or connecting flights. I used to pass ride all over the US and never had a problem.

Now that’s a new take on things! Guessing you must be a guy. We will be there a week so unless they have amazing prices in SF, I’m thinking one outfit would go for $40, if not a lot more. California prices.

DIL is already a fashion plate, so I feel frumpy enough around her without shopping at Walmart. And I’ll be honest, over the Christmas season I looked to see if they had a Walmart near them so that I could order them some gingerbread ice cream sandwiches. They offer them seasonally, but they are a bit different than the ones we used to get when my son was a kid. Closest one was a few hours away.

I will take your advice to heart for other trips, though! Might work for other locations. Thank you!
