She was in a job she was obviously not qualified for. My understanding is they didn’t want to spend the money to hire a real pro and her father was a real pro. But my father was a certified electrician. Even though I grew up in the household and helped him now and then, I am not a certified electrician. But given the way the film company hired; I’d have been hired to do that job. Not knowing a dammed thing, she probably thought the risk was low to nonexistent and she’d have a film credit. I feel sorry for her. Another case of not-knowing-what-it-is-you-don’t-know* biting someone in the butt.
* In my entire career I can’t even count the number of times a company manager, director or CEO made a bad call because they thought they understood something when it turns out they were clueless. Another case of not-knowing-what-it-is-you-don’t-know* biting someone in the butt.
