Their cravenness and dishonesty comes across as insane delusions. And if it looks like insane delusions, then it probably is. But to them it’s also a paycheck in a system that keeps their craven and dishonest paymasters’ paymasters happy as well. So they don’t care how it looks. Which is a form of craven insanity too.
