I think you might be underestimating Hillary’s capacity for self-delusion.
Republicans don’t understand the depth of her embarrassment. Hillary was utterly devastated by losing to Trump and a nation of people she deemed beneath her. We forget she couldn’t even address her supporters that night. Obama had to force her to give a concession speech. She got sloshed and called her best friend and cried.

There is another factor one must consider - the lazy factor. She also wouldn’t want to become President unless she didn’t have to do any work.
Of course she could gather up a lot of people to help with the work stuff. But it would still be a lot of trouble for her.
Her delusions of grandeur might offset the lazy factor. Not sure. I would never rule it out if she was essentially guaranteed a victory as you said.
They thought they had enough printed ballots to win. Trump did better than expected and there was a two hour delay election night as they scrambled to try to find enough votes. That won’t happen again.
