I thought of the Reagan skit, too.
Al Franken was asked years later if he would have written the skit that way had he known about Reagan’s later Alzheimer’s decline. He said he would not have done it. I like that about Franken.
I thought the Sinatra bit was a little strained. Thanks for linking it, thought. The Sinead “I see you I think of ball 14 in the side pocket.” was good.

I remember that one well…and given how things turned out for the USSR, it wasn’t too unbelievable. Biden is, however, likely worse behind closed doors, where he doesn’t need to perform.
