Freshmen played on the freshman team back then
Pistol Pete took 35 shots a game. Clark shot 20 a game.
But, Pete had no 3 point line either.
No 3 point shots, and scoring by teams was generally 100-120 points between both teams. I remember when Houston came out, they called them Phi Slamma Jamma. There was another little College from Cali, that scored like a pinball machine. When they added the 3 point line, and called 3 seconds on a defender, things really changed.

And no three-pointer.... But times change.
And didn’t have a three-point shot, nor as long a season. Taking nothing from Caitlan’s accomplishments, but there should be an asterisk.
