I only hope biden voters will suffer more than me but I doubt that will be true since I am paying for their cost of electricity too and everything else many of them consume. What do you get in return for your taxes? I don't get much at all.

Here in CT the state is doing vital work—putting tampons in boy’s rooms in schools.

Anyone who objects is a “dangerous extremist”.

The book to read is Shorting the Grid by Meredith Angwin. Longtime grid management insider explains it all in layman's language.

Basically, the climate hysterian lobby got Congress to break up the highly functional vertically integrated generation/delivery model so that the dysfunctional wind/solar generator schemers could elbow their way in, and it's all gone downhill since.

I’m on the Ohio River. Since Obama’s ecoapparatciks began regulating coal fired plants to smithereens I’ve seen four of six with fifty miles of me shuttered. Miraculously, my electric bill hasn’t gone up. The W.Va. coal fields were 100 or so miles upriver. What a sweet, efficient system it used to be. The rural counties that were the home to these plants lost their largest employer and tax base. The W. Va. local economies are just as devastated. One of those plants was ten miles as the crow flies from me. Since its closure there has no change in the quality of my environment other than no more clouds of steam from the cooling towers.

It’s the same where we are.

Crazy.

Just finished watching an energy webinar an hour ago... the takeaway is that TPTB want to totally transition off of the so-called fossil fuels (and that process has already started) and to ‘electrify everything’.

My local utility (Rappahannock Electric ‘Coop’) charges a 50% surcharge for any amount of electricity beyond “80% of the typical American Household” between May 1st and October 1st. . .

ONly 22% for me at my shop. BUT think of it like Obamacare and use government maffs. It could have gone us 50% but thanks to the brilliant leadership of Chomo Joe, it only went up 20% so really you SAVED 30% on your electric rates.

Now doesn’t it feel good to save the entire planet, serf?

Let’s not forget what a U.S. President stated around 15 years ago, as I recall:” The price of electricity will necessarily skyrocket”.

Biden said he was going to make everything cost more. That’s one promise he has kept.

But you didn’t have to endure a bunch of mean tweets from an Orange BAD MAN IN THE White House, so it was worth it right?
