I think the surgery is to make them feel full very quickly. It is to help them with the small portions because it’s very difficult if they’re used to eating large amounts.
I know someone who had it done, but, sadly, bit by bit, she overate again until she was back to square one. I guess if you work hard enough at it, you can overcome the surgery. Kind of sad to waste the opportunity.
So, back to the article. Did the guy lose weight and get in shape mainly because of the carnivore diet, or because he started adding intense workouts?
