In my experience, generally speaking, the more religious the person, the more afraid they were of death.
I am religious. I fear God. If I show any fear towards death it’s because it’s something I have never done. My mother had a near death experience in her mid thirties. She later suffered from cancer for 2 years. When it came time she died peacefully, with no fear. She’d already died once and it held no surprises for her.
