The study’s findings match previous research on the neighboring Pine Island Glacier, one of the largest ice streams in Antarctica, which scientists also found started retreating rapidly in the 1940s.

I have noticed that coastal properties around here have cut their prices in half because they know they will be flooded out very soon....

Nuclear bombs and testing have deposited radioactive particals on the ice shelf causing it to melt. Radioactive decay= Heat.

I’m currently 30 miles from Morraine (mo·raine
nounGEOLOGY
a mass of rocks and sediment carried down and deposited by a glacier, typically as ridges at its edges or extremity), Ohio. Thirteen thousand short years ago! I guess prehistoric man farted that glacier back to the arctic.

Laughable.

Of course there is no mention of the new sea-ice being found in another part of the world.

You can’t take it with you.
Almost everyone I see that owns an ocean front house is either really old or really rich or both.

I live in 'The Driftless' area of Wisconsin. The Glaciers completely missed us, so we are nothing but hills and valleys and BIG ROCKS that were never made into small rocks. All farming is done in contour strips to prevent erosion. And, yes. It IS this gorgeous in Real Life. :)
We all have one leg slightly shorter than the other from always walking on a hillside, LOL!

“which may reflect the increasing impact of human-caused global warming”
MAY??? You just know the National Academy of Sciences wanted to pin it on global warming, but they are just a wee bit reticent to say it IS being caused by global warming.

I live in southern NH. I have boulders on my property over 7’ across. There are some within a mile or two that are 15-20’ across.
One sits on a bend in the road. The road was put in early 1800s. They just went around it. It is about 15’ high and 20’ long.

The question is not, and has never been, whether the earth is warming. It is very likely it is.
The question is if it is man-caused (anthropogenic) and if taxing and spending trillions of dollars on stupid Leftist schemes like sequestering carbon will make any difference at all.
