I disagree with you about relevance, though. This old interview is relevant to determining whether MacGregor has continued his cheerleading for Putin and his defeatism about Ukraine (he has), and whether he has improved as a prognosticator (he hasn’t). Beginning at about 24:10 he calls for a settlement, meaning Ukraine conceding a big chunk of its territory, and he predicts that, if his surrender counsel is not accepted, “within the next six to eight months you’ll see hundreds of thousands of Russian troops on the Polish border....”
Based on your information dating the video, the six months is up or nearly so. That gives the Russians two months to get to the Polish border or MacGregor was wrong yet again.
