‘Office Space’ had a primed market who had been following Scott Adams’ “Dilbert” comics and books.

Every scene with Lawrence (Dierich Bader) in that film… gold.

This isn’t a movie, it’s a documentary. There’s a REASON the company is called Initech, as Any Tech company you work for is like that.
I loved this movie the moment I saw it. I worked a night shift with every movie character represented by name, appearance, cursing, personality, and usually multiple qualities rolled into together.
The soundtrack was a tremendous asset. Everybody has favorite lines and scenes...I liked the copier destruction with Bolton dragging pieces like the entrails of conquered game animal.
Office Space and Blazing Saddles have the same quotability.
It took me forever to recognize where I had seen Diedrich Bader before, Drew Carey.

When we're fighting with the office printer, someone will aways say "PC load letter? What the f--- does that mean?".
Also, just yesterday, a small desk in a too small corner of the lab behind the filing cabinets was cleared. I asked if the poor sucker who got it would at least get a red stapler. Everyone laughed, even those younger than the movie.

What surprised me the most about this movie is that the guy who played Samir is married to the woman who played the naive beauty contest winner in Miss Congeniality.
