Don’t worry, Donald Trump is actually forbidden under the constitution from choosing Ron DeSantis as his running mate, given that they’re both from the state of Florida and the constitution says that the nominees for president and Vice President have to be from different states.

No! He can choose DeSantis however Florida electors cannot vote for Trump and DeSantis. They have the choice of voting for Trump for Prez but not DeSantis for VP or DeSantis for VP but not Trump for Prez!

In a close election that issue could be decisive!

completely untrue. he can pick from fla but if they both remain living here they don’t get the delegates. that does NOT preclude DJT from moving to NJ or some other state to satisfy the issue.

Bush and Cheney lived in TX at the same time; Cheney moved to Montana and solved the issue
