A few years back I took a BMW i3 for an overnight “test drive”.I did it out of curiosity...I had no intention of buying one. I just about ran the battery dry on I-90 so I stayed the night at my sister's place and plugged it into the wall in her garage. Twelve hours later the battery was something like 10% charged.

EVs are expensive toys.

If you want one, fine. No skin off my nose.

But EV mandates and government incentives have as much to do with saving the planet as CoupFlu policy does with protecting public health.
