It’s about forcing people into ‘15-Minute Cities’, by making personal transportation unfeasible.
And annihilating the middle class.
Deep State’s frontmen are stupid.
The people hiding behind them are not.
I still have not seen any data on electric vehicle charging range at ten degrees temperature or zero or below zero.
They probably have the data but refuse to release it.
I had my eye on the c7zo6 like yours originally but they stopped making it before Inwas ready financially. Today is 72 degree high which means these things will hook up and I can have fun (with my little dog it the back)
I pay cash in full
I've seen it for DC Level 3 fast charging and it's ugly. Especially the ones that don't have battery preconditioning (warming just before you get to the charger). Mine doesn't have preconditioning and I don't remember the numbers for subzero DC fast charging because it doesn't apply to me (live in Alabama, no plans to drive up north during the winter).
Don't quote me on this, but it seems like level 2 home charging at sub-zero temps is do-able but not as efficient. In other words, if you come home with say 40% charge you'll wake up to a fully charged (i.e. usually 80% recommended top for local driving) from overnight charging regardless of the temp in your garage. But in 70F temps it might take 4 hours and in sub zero temps it might take 6 hours (or something like that). Not a showstopper IMHO if I lived up north and all the other factors I listed were good for me to get an EV. But it might move the needle enough on the efficiency to not be worth getting an EV unless I drove lots and lots of miles and needed to save on gas.
yup, i used to put new tires on the front cause the rear always got smoked...
I agree with the setting the cruise control and just cruise mindset. I spent so many years and miles driving trucks, while trying to meet a delivery or load, with metro traffic delays requiring pushing hard when out in the rural stretches.
“And if your residence doesn’t have a 200A service, there’s another, far higher cost.”
200A service is not required.
