I’ll add this anecdote from before the vaccines: The husband of a friend in her 70s died of COVID early on. OK, he had a heart attack 10 years earlier and was told he had 5 years to live, and he collapsed in his yard clutching his chest, was taken to the emergency room and some IDIOT diagnosed “COVID”, was put on a ventilator and died without having his known heart issues looked at.
That IMHO was “murder”. They were more worried about “COVID” and blaming COVID for everything than the fact he had nearly died 10 years earlier from a heart attack and had all the symptoms of a heart attack!
His widow understandably is bitter. Also, she worked for Pfizer for 30 years selling their drugs...and she refused to take the shot. She later had some friends arrive from out of town, take sick, turned out to be COVID, kept them at home with her (the hotels would not accept them) and took care of them for the next couple of weeks. Did not catch COVID.
She finally caught it last year. Took some Dayquil and never slowed down. Remarried at 80 and is still going strong.
But...I think she is right. Her husband of 40+ years was murdered. And now they want a COVID amnesty!
Betting she had pristine Vitamin D levels, which for many require real diligence to attain and maintain, but are best to fight off COVID, or if beset by COVID, to sail through it relatively unaffected.
