In reading the story, there appears to be much more to it than what’s on the surface. There’s a good chance management had due cause to can her.
There’s almost always a lot more to these stories than is suggested.
She shouldn’t have posted about it on social media! Diving further into this, it seems that there was a dispute over the taxes. That for whatever reason, the restaurant had to pay the taxes on it, rather than coming from her tip directly.
Either way, it seems like there is more to this than restaurant bad, employee good - as is presented here.
“There’s a good chance management had due cause to can her.”
Super duper easy to clear up. Just state reason she was fired and stop hiding behind the old we can’t comment on it because of “law” BS.
There always is...A most reasonable answer!
It’s a shame we never get to hear all the nuts and bolts of stories like this. I’m guessing probably not more than a half dozen people know everything about it.
Although it happens, more often than not things are not nearly as straightforward as seen in the news story. I think that’s because the people who write the stories are stupid and don’t research them as well as not wanting to make anything too complicated for the masses who read it.
