All I know is that the local bookstore would be half empty, and the DS bread & circus/opiate o' the masses media machine would grind to a halt without all the Taylor Swift and Harry Styles fanzines and internet disgronification.
As one who has not knowingly heard either of their songs or paid any attention to them other than seeing their pictures whenever I pass a magazine display, they could disappear to the pop culture equivalent of Siberia and it would matter naught to me. Somewhat like war, I suspect that it doesn't matter if I am interested in them, they - or more precisely, those who are setting them up with status, wealth and ubiquity- are interested in me.
And not in a good way.
Which would not be a bad thing for this country.
But still, we don't need non-stop TS stuff posted here. There are bigger issues facing us than that nonsense.
