My impression was that the attraction of Jews to communism was something like Joseph in Egypt in the bible. It was a way to get ahead and around on the natives. The Egypt Joseph created was one where all the Egyptians were slaves to Pharaoh and ruled by jews. He created the first communist state.
But then the Egyptians rebelled etc
The second communist state was one created by Stalin—who also had a big jewish nomenclature.
Over time the Russians —like the Egyptians—rebelled. And like the egyptians they drove the Jews out.
Socialism does a few things.
1. It supposedly allows a person to obtain self-sanctification, because they are supposedly doing works of good.
2. It mollifies the less motivated, because they are kept from experiencing the full consequence of impoverishment, so they are less likely to be bothered by trying to succeed. Why would I try to obtain skills for a better job when I only have to wait for a higher minimum wage to be enacted?
3. It protects the economic advantages that the rich have by keeping those who might become an economic competitor, because you keep draining them of resources that they could otherwise use to get ahead in life. It acts like an economic tread that is set against stairs and set at a high speed. You only get ahead in a socialist system if you can manage to outrun that treadmill.
God was with Joseph in that endeavor, so claiming he created the first communist state is both a lie and blasphemy. It is absurd to infer that Joseph created a state of affairs where the family, private property and religion were all abolished.
BTW, Joseph was not a Jew and could never be; Judah, the father of the Jews, was his elder half-brother.
Nonsence. While Joseph made a big mistake, it backfired on the Hebrews, GOD fought for Israel, and humiliated the Egxptian “ gods”
