Yes, we are absolutly saved by Grace. But you can’t just go off and live and practice am ungodly life. 5he WORD says that those who practice sin will not inherit the kingdom of GOD.
Yes, we are absolutely saved by grace.
You can continue in sin and be saved, otherwise you’d still be under the law, but we are not under the law (Rom. 6:14). The cross was a blank check of love from God to us with no strings attached to those who receive Jesus. God’s love is not like man’s love. God’s love comes with no strings attached.
As Jesus said, if you understand how much he has forgiven you, you’ll fall in love with him and out of love with sin.
BUT the possibility exists for someone to go hog wild with sin and not care about the Lord after he’s saved. However the TRUTH is the LAW, not grace, triggers sin.
FIRST you MUST accept you are under grace with NO CONDEMNATION and NOT under the law. Once you’ve accepted that truth, you almost certainly will fall into a deeper love with Jesus because of what he’s done for you.
However, the possibility exists that if you knew you could go hog wild and still go to heaven that you’d live a crazy, sinful life. Unlikely, but possible. Again scripture traches it is the LAW, not grace, that strengthens sin.
So understanding all of that and if you still wanted to go hog wild with sin, if you have Jesus you’d go to heaven. But you’d be like Lot who God says was a righteous man but a defeated righteous man who lived after the flesh. At the end, Lot lost everything including his wife.
The tears in heaven will be those that saw what they could have had with the amazing open-ended love and goodness of God but treated their inheritance with contempt and lived after the flesh and sin. How stupid. An normally most will snap out of it.
Yes, they will be saved but will have great regret losing eternal rewards. But God in his love and mercy still wipes their tears from their eyes and the sting of regret will go away. But what an eternal loss!!!
