The $1.5 trillion "Inflation Reduction Act" was only one part of the total Federal budget. Less than $200 billion in total for Ukraine is chump change in comparison.

Russia gained a fraction of 1% of Ukraine in 2023 in exchange for 250K+ casualties. I'd say that's money well spent.
