But everybody has those local venues that seat a few hundred people, at the most. Some great shows in those kind of places.

Tallahassee Fl - the long defunct Tommy’s Deep South Music Hall. Maybe room for 300 people. Joan Jett, Iggy Pop, Steel Pulse, Psychedelic Furs, Fleshtones. If I had a choice of going back and reliving shows from the past, I’d be back at Tommy’s.

Nodding at Iggy Pop as he sat at the bar, watching opening acts, pouring himself shots from a bottle. Joan Jett walking around in the crowd talking to fans. Fleshtones doing 14 single song encores because the crowd wouldn’t let them leave.

Saw the P-Furs at a place like that, long gone, the building is gone and replaced. Was right across the street from The Fox in ATL. It was Alex Cooley’s Electric Ballroom, then the Aurora Ballroom. Also saw George Thorogood there, several others.
