It happened in Peabody, north of Boston, on Tuesday afternoon.
The paramedics stopped to check on the car's driver, a 17-year-old boy who was not seriously injured, before they continued on, safely delivering their original patient to the hospital.
If I was the “patient inside” the ambulance, I’d be asking WTF?
I’d be saying: “Whew!”.
Depends on why the patient was in the ambulance. If it was just a “transport” to rehab or something that was not an emergency, the Paramedics have a “duty to act.”
This situation presents itself more than people might realize. My daughter is a paramedic...and this was a “couple of times a year” type of thing. Not dramatic car flying, but coming across an accident.
Dash Cams allow us to see more of this stuff than we ever have before.
Ten points if anyone can guess how the natives pronounce the town of Peabody.
PEEbid’ee.
PBD as fast as you can say those three letters.
The Mods will add -10 to your FR social credit score card.
Nope; your “PBD” version is incorrect. It would be pronounced PEE-BEE-DEE, with the same emphasis on every syllable. Mine, PEEbid’ee, has the correct sound.
