The Republican Party is in as much a schism as are many church denominations now, with the kissing-up to the LGBT+ lobby being a hallmark of those RINOs who have traded their conservatism for a smiley-face relativism. North Carolina's RINOs are threatened by plain speech, and, in this case, a charismatic if controversial BLACK REPUBLICAN politician.

One observes that Robinson is the incumbent, and and snapping, barking dogs at his heels want his position. Basic politics. The RINOs look ahead, with trepidation that an incumbent Lieutenant governor be 1) re-elected and 2) stand for the office of governor next time around.
