Because of WuFlu Cooper declared himself emperor and locked NC down for far too long. The legislature passed bills to limit his power but he vetoed every one of them. The Reps have had a veto-proof supermajority in the legislature for about a year. Especially if that continues after the next election and particularly if Robinson is elected, the first order of business should be to change the law to prevent a gov - of either party - exercising unlimited dictatorial control.
Yes. Its been wonderful watching the new Republican supermajority in the state legislature stuff one bill after another right down Cooper’s throat.
