Yep, it's like Classical Music, no new symphonies are being written, people just want to hear the classics.

Try some of the folk, Americana, and bluegrass mixes on Spotify. I like about one quarter of the songs enough to add them to my various playlists.

You could be right. It’s unfortunate that Mozart and The Doors couldn’t get together and cut an album. It would have been unique.
