Yes, I read the too. The places on Earth with high level of natural radiation are very healthy and having lower cancer rate.
Ramsar, Iran, is a city with highest level of natural radiation on the Earth and it is well known spa!
Similar in the Gul of Mexico about the “great BP oil disaster”... The environmental activist alarmists always underestimate natural life, and humans, ability to adapt and mitigate from environmental issues. They didn't underestimate petroleum-eating microbes, they deliberately ignored them -- that and the fact that natural petroleum seepage far exceeds industrial spills. Even NOAA admits to the existence of oil-eating bacteria: Who Thinks Crude Oil Is Delicious? These Ocean Microbes Do
LOL! Awesome. I see what you did there. ;)
I would say that those lines that were more genetically susceptible to cancer died off. The others survived.
There is no money in actually curing diseases. Covid-19 proved that.
Lon Chaney was the best.
Warren Zevon, please pick up the white courtesy phone.
Also cancer is more of a “condition” then a “disease”.

—many would be surprised to learn of the limited long term health effects the nuclear attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August 1945 have had.

It is commonly believed that the survivors of Hiroshima and Nagasaki have a high cancer burden, a significantly shortened lifespan, and children with high rates of mutations and abnormalities. After a careful examination of the data, the author found this to be an incorrect assumption.
Rather than “becoming” resistance, most likely this is a result o those who were already resistance surviving to reproduce their strain. However, evolutionist explain everything as being evolved, with faith that someday the universe can be found to have evolved itself out of nothing.
Yes,
They estimate that the cancer rate has risen by statistically significant 1%. They estimated that there were additional ~350 deaths in Hiroshima/Nagasaki from long term radiation effects.
There were ZERO (0) deaths from radiation both in Fukushima and Three mile island.
But quite a lot of deaths in Fukushima are blamed on the stress caused by alarms and evacuations.
Chernobyl caused deaths of about 45 people.
Some people returned to Chernobyl after the evacuation and live there. Again, the people who returned live longer than the evacuees who did not return!
Reminds me of the “Saturday Night Live jimmy carter 3 mile island skit”
The gulf came back better than the site of the Valdez’s spill, where they performed the clean up.
‘Wolves Eat Dogs’ by Martin Cruz Smith is a great detective novel set in the aftermath of Chernobyl. ;)
I’ll look for it. Hate the title, I worry about that a bit.
Nature is incredibly resilient and adaptable.
We have increased CO2 levels and the Earth gets greener, our deserts shrink with vegetation. Amazing system that compensates for changes.
