My philosophy is one pit bull one 9mm problem solved ... Two pit bulls two 9mm same as above.
A story appeared in the “It Happened to Me” section of Combat Handguns magazine several years ago where an individual described taking some kind of little dog he had for a walk down a neighborhood street.
They got to the edge of one particular yard and the guy said a pitbull come from around the corner of the house in the yard and was running towards him and his little dog with the verasity of a speeding comet(viscously mad and on a mission).
He was apparently carrying something akin to an old Browning Hi Power, 9mm of course, and it took near the whole magazine unloaded into that Pit to stop it. I’m guessing close to 8 to 10 rounds.
On the other hand, I’ve heard of police officers nuetralizing pits with 2ea 40’s.
