He’s working out demons. First, Diana jumped the fence and got bred by her Army Officer Horse riding instructor. Everybody knows it. He’s not really a blood relative.
But the family sacked up and treated him as a full member and pretended nobody had a clue.
But I think it ate at him over time. Twice in his twenties he deployed to Afghanistan once as infantry, and 5 years later as a pilot and gunner on an Apache. By all accounts his service was good.
He met that idiot female about 4 years after.
His life has been nice obviously, but I think he’s dealing with some demons. Takes some guys a while.
But he showed some character to walk into that obvious hostile situation knowing he wouldn’t be welcomed with open arms.
He can at least hold his head high on that.
Have you read the book? I have, and was sort of surprised. It isn't exactly a relentless trashing of the royal family, but William definitely comes across as a borderline sociopath.
Harry absolutely hates the British press however ... not surprising. Blames them for (a) killing his mother; (2) driving away two previous serious GFs before Meghan; and (3) trying to trash Meghan and drive her away as well.
